Recently, Condoleezza Rice stated that the US had no intention of doing regime change in Iran; the US wanted the clerics in Iran to alter their tone of attitude toward West, and to cool down their hostile attitude. The above comment was not welcome by Iranian dissident because everyone remembered how President George BUSH made promise during his union speech that how he would help Iranian people to have a democrat Iran, and spread democracy in Iran. Also, Iran’s neighboring countries are fearful of nuclear Iran, and were not please to hear that the US is not going to deal with nuclear Iran.
President BUSH is out of his office very soon, and is not interested to deal with this matter any more, and Mr. Cheney is trying to do damage control, and when he was on deck of USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf, he made a rhetoric statement that the US would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapon. Actually, Mr. Cheney is given reason to Revolutionary Guard, and other Revolutionary forces in Iran to become more determine in their cause to acquire nuclear weapon because simply someone is telling Revolutionary Guard that their military cannot possess deadly weapon while the counter part in this case is the US, it can possess deadly arsenal. Thus, it becomes some kind of divine mission for Revolutionary Guard to possess nuclear weapons.
Canada has taken an ambiguous approach toward nuclear Iran, in this case Canada’s Foreign Minister Peter MacKay has mentioned that Iran’s President is making irrational remarks against the US and President’s remarks are deteriorating Iran and US relation, and in the mean time, MacKay would press Iran to improve its human rights record. There is a question that how MacKay is planning to improve human rights record in Iran? In Iran, day after day, Revolutionary Guard is seizing streets and does not allow people to take a free air inside of their lungs, and creating a fearful, and submissive society. What has Mr. MacKay has done so far to help Iranian people to take free air in their lungs?
All in all, making it clear that there is a legitimate reason to be concern about nuclear Iran which has hostile intention against humanity on global scale. What matter here that ordinary citizens should not fall in trap of politicians who are trying to sell their own agenda to ordinary citizens and this agenda of politicians is unknown to ordinary people at this time.
