Melfort RCMP charged Cst. Ryan Rempel with uttering threats, forcible entry and entering a dwelling with intent. RCMP responded to complaints at a Melfort residence on Oct. 12 and Nov. 15.
An RCMP constable is facing numerous charges following complaints about separate incidents in October and November.
Melfort RCMP charged Cst. Ryan Rempel with uttering threats, forcible entry and entering a dwelling with intent. RCMP responded to complaints at a Melfort residence on Oct. 12 and Nov. 15.
Rempel is currently on administrative duties at the Melfort detachment. He has eight years of RCMP service, the last three in Melfort.
The RCMP Professional Standards Unit is conducting an internal investigation.
The case has been adjourned to May 5.
