March 15th, 2013 Daniel Leblanc and Greg Mcarthur are
journalists from The Globe and Mail and report about multinational
corporate “SNC – Lavalin deliberately circumvented Quebec's
political financing rules in the past decade, culminating in a flurry
of donations to the governing Quebec Liberal Party in 2009 … SNC –
Lavalin staff gave a total of $1 – million to the Quebec Liberal
Party and the Parti Quebecois between 1998 and 2009.”1
There is restriction in amount of money donated to the political
parties. This restriction of camping donation is in place to create
fairness in political system. The text book states that “the rich,
for example, have advantage in all political games.”2
In 2006, Prime Minister of Canada Harper passed the Federal
Accountability Act bill C2 that it placed restriction in spending of
$1000.00 CDN for a third party and groups or individuals must
register and not spending $500.00 CDN.3
